The collaborative portrait project ‘No Human Being Is Illegal (in all our glory)’ she instigated for the 2014 Biennale of Sydney toured regional galleries from 2015 - 2018, and moves to a permanent home in the Wellcome Trust Collection (London) from September 2019.

 

In 2017, Kelly’s first international solo exhibition ‘Venus Envy’ was shown at the Kvindemuseet in Denmark. In 2018 her second solo European show, ‘Life in the Ruins’, was held at the Fabian & Claude Walter Galerie in Zurich, curated by Daniel Blochwitz.

 

Her work has been presented in group exhibitions at MOMA PS1 (New York), the ICA (London), the Hammer Museum (Los Angeles) and the Pera Museum (Istanbul).

She has recently participated in PhotoBasel (Switzerland), Strangelove Festival (Antwerp, Belgium), PortoFemme (Portugal), Spaced3 (Art Gallery of WA), My Monster (RMIT Gallery), and in the historical survey ‘Unfinished Business: Perspectives on Art & Feminism’ at ACCA (Melbourne).

 

Her moving image works are currently touring Australia in the exhibitions ‘Craftivism’ and ‘Moving Histories/Future Projections’ until 2020.
